Where can my child or I take lessons in music, acting, dance or musical theater?
The Preparatory Department offers educational instruction and performance opportunities in music, theater and dance to pre-collegiate and continuing education students.

How do I hire a musician to play for my wedding/bar mitzvah/special event?
Contact the Career Services office at (513) 556-9481 to hire a CCM student for your next event.

Why is there a hyphen in your College's name?
The College of Music of Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music merged in August 1955 to become the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. On August 1, 1962 the College-Conservatory of Music became the fourteenth college at the University of Cincinnati.

How can I make a gift to support students and faculty?
There are many giving opportunities through the UC Foundation and Friends of CCM, including donations, sponsorships and planned gifts. Visit the webpage for more information.

How can I get involved at CCM?
The Friends of CCM have been helping students achieve their dreams before the footlights, behind the scenes, or in front of a microphone or camera for over twenty years. Today, the organization has 600 members and an active Board who raise over $200,000 each year for CCM's talented students and faculty.

Do you offer adult lessons for the community?
Yes, the Preparatory Department offers opportunities for adults as well as pre-collegiate students.

Do you have performing opportunities for non-CCM students?
The University Men's and Women's Choruses are made up of both CCM and non-CCM students.

Do you offer ticket discounts for UC students?
Over 90% of CCM's events are FREE to the public, but ticketed events are offered at a discount price for UC students. Call the CCM Box Office at (513) 556-4183 for more information.

Where is CCM? How do I get there?
The CCM Village and parking garage are located on UC's Main West campus at the base of Corry Boulevard. For more complete directions go here.

How do I find Werner Recital Hall? Watson Hall? Patricia Corbett Theater? etc.
Now that you are at CCM, finding the correct performance space can be challenging. There are touch screen kiosks and signage throughout the building to help you find your way, or go to this map.

How do I get tickets to CCM performances?
Tickets for all CCM performances are available through the CCM Box Office at (513) 556-4183. The Box Office is located in the Corbett Center Atrium and is open Monday through Friday 12-6 pm; Saturday 12-4 pm; and one hour prior to curtain for all ticketed performances.
