| Katheryn Allen joins the Arts Administration program from Des Moines, Iowa. She earned her undergraduate degree in Piano Performance from the University of Iowa. It was there that her interest in web design blossomed into a successful freelance consulting business for performing artists, specializing in web development and advertising. She gained additional experience in public relations through internships within the University of Iowa School of Music. As a pianist, Katheryn has given numerous solo and chamber music recitals throughout the Midwest. In April of 2007, she made her concerto debut with the Des Moines Symphony Orchestra. Later that year, she attended the Aspen Music Festival and School on full fellowship. Her experiences in both the performance and management sides of the music industry have led her to pursue a degree in arts administration. She is excited to continue her education at CCM, and looks forward to a rewarding career in the arts. |

| Though originally from Eastern Pennsylvania, Brian has spent the last several years working in New York City theatre. While in New York, Brian worked for Tony Award winning producer Roger Gindi on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and regional theatre productions. Prior to this, he was a talent agent in the theatre/film/television department at Don Buchwald & Associates. Brian also served as the casting intern for the 2007 Tony Award Winning Best Musical "Spring Awakening". Most recently, Brian was the Management Intern at The Old Globe in San Diego, where he spent his time doing financial analysis and market research. Brian holds a BA in theatre from Penn State University, where his theatrical experiences ranged from acting to carpentry and everything in between. Brian is thrilled to be a part of CCM, and is eager to develop his career towards an executive director position at a regional theatre. Hobbies include camping and riding 3-wheelers. |

| Gloria is an international student originally from Macau, a culturally blended city in eastern Asia. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus in piano at the University of Arizona. Under the guidance of the U of A music department faculty, Gloria went on to obtain a Master's degree in Music Theory. While studying in this graduate program, Gloria was exposed to many different aspects of music and arts. She worked as an artists relations associate for three years at UAPresents, a nationally recognized host of world-class performances and programs . Gloria also taught music theory and keyboard classes as a graduate teaching assistant, and worked as an administrative assistant at the Steinway Piano Gallery in Tucson, AZ. Through these various experiences, Gloria has developed a passion for Arts Administration and is excited about the opportunity to learn and grow at CCM. Gloria aspires to work in an administrative and management role with orchestra and opera companies around the world. |
| Joe was born and raised in the Cincinnati area. He graduated with a B.A. in Psychology, and a Theatre Arts minor from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. For the past six years, Joe has worked as an actor and teaching artist regionally and on tour with companies including National Theatre for Arts and Education, Florida Studio Theatre, and the Roxy Regional Theatre in Clarksville, TN. Though he still loves performing, Joe has a new found passion for theatre as an educational tool. He also hopes to learn how to tackle the difficult task of developing audiences for the future. When not studying, Joe enjoys bowling, and the occasional three-way at Skyline. |
| Though originally from North-Central Ohio, Chelsie most recently moved from Columbus, where she attained her Bachelor of Music in Music Performance at the Capital University Conservatory of Music. A work-study position under the Executive Director of the Jazz Arts Group of Columbus allowed Chelsie to realize her passion for the business side of the arts, and she promptly gained an internship at BalletMet Columbus. While at BalletMet, she worked closely with and learned multitudes from the Executive Director, Board of Trustees, and Education Department. Chelsie loves the world of logistics and management, and plans someday to work her way into an Executive Directorship. Her other passions include books, movies, airports, Seinfeld, and playing horn. |
| Leah is originally from southern California and studied Music Composition and German at the University of Redlands where she produced her original German opera. After working in theater production and opera stage management for over three years at companies including The Santa Fe Opera and Sarasota Opera, Leah is excited to be in the MA/MBA program at CCM. In the future, she hopes to work internationally as an executive director or producer of traditional and contemporary opera. |

| Justin Ellis grew up in Portland, Oregon. After high school Justin pursued a degree in Music from Portland State University, Portland OR. While at PSU Justin studied french horn with Larry Johnson and Bill Stalnaker, and performed in many ensembles inside and outside of school, to include: the Portland Youth Philharmonic, where he was also a stage manager, 234th Army Band, and acting 4th horn in the Vancouver Symphony in Vancouver WA. While at PSU he had the opportunity to lead multiple student-funded organizations, to include the Instrumental Music Club and Music Committee. In those organizations his experience briefly include a professional weekly recital series, and guest artist concerto appearances by Pianist Awadagin Pratt, Cellist Matt Haimovitz, and Pianist Orli Shaham with the PSU Symphony, which he was concurrently stage manager with. Most recently, after graduation, Justin worked as stage manager for the highly acclaimed chamber music summer festival-Chamber Music Northwest. Justin is very excited to pursue a degree in Arts Admin from CCM, and hopes it leads to a very exciting life-long career in arts management. |
| Carolyne Hall is originally from West Central Iowa. She attended Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a focus in Vocal Music. While at Simpson Carolyne became interested in the management of opera production. She served as assistant director, stage manager and props mistress for seven shows including highlights such as Leoncavallo’s Il Pagliacci, Menotti’s The Consul, and Verdi’s Falstaff. Carolyne was also the production manager for the Simpson College May Term Opera Workshop overseeing over 50 scenes in May 2008. For the past three summers, Carolyne served as both the Supertitle Operator and Assistant to the Director of Artistic Operations for the Des Moines Metro Opera. During the school year she also interned with DMMO working on auditions and with DMMO’s educational outreach troupe OPERA Iowa. She has also worked with the Iowa State Historical Society and served as the Undergraduate Assistant for the Simpson College Choir. Carolyne is currently interning with Cincinnati Opera in their Artistic Operations department helping them prepare for the 90th Anniversary Season. Carolyne hopes to become the Artistic Administrator or Director of Artistic Operations at a major national opera company. |

| Siobhan Lau, a native of the Chicago suburb of Park Ridge, began her career with the arts at the age of four when she started taking violin lessons. She developed a strong connection to music and the arts in general, and she took that passion to Greencastle, Indiana to pursue her undergraduate studies. Siobhan graduated in 2009 from DePauw University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance and Spanish. After a Winter Term experience during which she interned at The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center in their Education Department, she decided that she wanted to pursue a career in Arts Administration, advocating for the importance of the arts and arts education. She is most interested in becoming the Educational Programming Director of an orchestra or arts center. Siobhan believes that UC’s joint MBA/MA Arts Administration program will equip her with the necessary business and arts management skills necessary to succeed as an arts administrator. |

| Sarah grew up in Rochester, NY where she was active in music and theatre from the age of 6. After studying with Dr. Jane Gunter-McCoy at the Eastman School of Music in high school, she decided to pursue a degree in Music Education. While studying Music Education at Miami University (Oxford, OH), she continued to be active in theatre as well, holding a several year internship with the Pittsford Summer Enrichment Institute and a stage management apprenticeship with Spoleto Festival, USA. After graduating from Miami of Ohio in 2004, she taught choral music and drama in New Richmond and Madeira City Schools and held a production nternship with Jersey Productions. She also founded, produced, and directed the first two seasons of the wildly successful Madeira Summer OnStage Program, which offers drama experiences to students in grades 5-9. Sarah hopes to one day be a Director of Development or Education Outreach for a major theatrical company or performing arts series and is very honored to be a part of the 2011 CCM Arts Admin class! |
| Aaren grew up in the Greater Cincinnati area. She graduated in 2009 from Ohio University in Athens, OH where she earned an undergraduate degree in Accounting. While at Ohio University, Aaren worked with the Office of University Events, gaining valuable arts managment and event-planning experience by working in front-of-house managment for the University's 2,000-seat theater. In the summer of 2008, she worked as a Development/Events intern for the Cincinnati Opera. These experiences, along with a life-long passion for music and involvement in bands and orchestras as a flute/piccolo player, have lead Aaren to CCM and the Arts Administration program. She hopes to combine her strength in business and a passion for the arts into a successful career. |
| Aubrey joins the Arts Administration program from Minneapolis, Minn. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication-public relations from Winona State University. Prior to joining CCM, Aubrey worked at a public relations/public affairs firm for three years. Outside of her professional work, Aubrey has been involved with arts organizations including the Minnesota Children’s Museum and Minnesota Fringe Festival. In addition, she has had several international work/educational experiences that focused on arts and culture, including studying music, theatre and art in London; performing tourism marketing research in Costa Rica; and teaching English in Beijing, China. Aubrey is excited to pursue a degree in arts administration and hopes to one day work as an executive director at a leading museum or arts center. |
