MUSIC RESEARCH FORUM

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSIONS

Music Research Forum is published annually by the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music. The journal is internationally distributed and indexed. We welcome submissions in English from students and young professionals. Articles are considered in any area of music with emphasis on, but not limited to, subjects in musicology, theory, performance practice, ethnomusicology, music and culture, music industry, therapy, education, cognition, and criticism.
 
Articles should be word-processed on 8.5x11-inch paper. All materials, including example captions, should be double-spaced and conform to the footnote guidelines found in The Chicago Manual of Style. Contributions should be between twelve and thirty pages. A cover sheet listing the author's name, address, telephone number, email address, and academic affiliation (if applicable) must precede articles. Articles will not be returned.
 
The postmark deadline for submissions for Volume 23 is January 14, 2008. Authors must submit three hard copies of each article to:
