Biography: Dr. Wolfram is a member of International Communication Association, Speech Communication Association and Broadcast Education Association. In 1984, he was a visiting professor at the University of Fribourg, Institute for Journalism and Mass Communication, in Switzerland. Published works include 'Film and the Federal Republic of Germany,' in Contemporary Germany (1984); 'Television Production and the University Curriculum,' in Television Techniques and Africa (1984); 'Techniques in Television Drama: A Case for a Revised Dramaturgy,' in ERIC (May 1983); and 'Television Production,' in JOB (Fall 1979). As a producer/director he worked on nationally-acclaimed television productions including She Stoops to Conquer, Oliver Goldsmith (1985); Rienzi, television documentary on Richard Wagner's early opera (1982); Celos Aun del Aire Matan, Pedro Calderon de la Barca (1982); Anyman, video drama based on Dostoevsky's 'Notes from Underground' (1981); and Woyzeck, Georg Buechner, translated and freely adapted by Larry Kimmel, Hannelore G. Wolfram and Manfred K. Wolfram (1978). He received the special merit award at the 1979 International Video Festival in Athens, Ohio and 2nd prize at the International Conference on Television Drama at Michigan State University in 1982. He was also the recipient of the faculty fellowship for production with CBS Television Network in 1980 awarded by Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and Broadcast Education Association.
