Friends of CCM



The Friends of CCM is a group of volunteers whose love of the performing and media arts extends beyond the audience rows. They have been helping students achieve their dreams before the footlights, behind the scenes, or in front of a microphone or camera for over twenty years. Today, the organization has 600 members and an active Board who raise over $200,000 each year for CCM's talented students and faculty.

Membership contributions provide funding for student career development grants, master classes, ensemble travel, curriculum development, faculty advancement and scholarships for students throughout CCM's undergraduate, graduate and Preparatory divisions. With several levels of membership, there is a place for everyone to get involved. Special benefits depend on your level of commitment, and can range from listing in the Friends roster in CCM programs and publications to CCM tickets and parking passes to special Friends only receptions. Whether your interest is in music, opera, musical theater, drama, dance, or the media arts, your generosity will aid the "stars of tomorrow" whose talents touch our hearts and stir our imaginations.

Friends of CCM Special Events for 2007-08

Young Friends of CCM

The Young Friends of CCM is a group composed of individuals in their 20s, 30s and 40s interested in supporting CCM. Membership is open to individuals who donate $50 or more, with current members hailing from a variety of backgrounds, professions and neighborhoods. The Young Friends host events in conjunction with the CCM performance season (September through June), as well as general events to showcase CCM's unparalleled range of performances and award-winning facilities.
