Duane Dugger

Duane Dugger is currently the Third Hornist of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Since joining the CSO in 1991, Mr. Dugger has played Principal Horn on over 13 CDs with the Cincinnati Symphony and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestras. Before coming to Cincinnati, Mr. Dugger played Principal Horn with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra for four seasons. Prior to his tenure in the Memphis Symphony, Mr. Dugger played with the San Diego Symphony, was Principal horn with the San Diego Opera, and was a member of the San Diego Chamber Orchestra. Mr. Dugger's professional career began at seventeen as an extra hornist with the San Diego Symphony. Duane studied with George Cable, Jim Decker, Wendel Hoss, Jerry Folsom and Bobby Routch. He attended the San Diego State University and the University of Southern California.
