Dr. Conda earned her B. M. degree in piano performance from Mansfield University in Pennsylvania, and her M. M. degree in piano performance from Bowling Green State University. her Ph.D. in Piano Pedagogy is from the University of Oklahoma, where she studied piano and pedagogy with Dr. Jane Magrath and Dr. E. L. Lancaster. She has taught and given masterclasses througout the United States, her area of expertise is in adult learning.

Dr. Conda has hosted numerous events at the College-Conservatory of Music, including the Yamaha Technology Symposium, numerous clinicians from around the country, and the National Group Piano/Piano Pedagogy Forum, of which she is a founding member.

Dr. Conda has published articles in American Music Teacher, Soundboard, Keyboard Companion, Piano Forum, and Yamaha Key Action. She has given presentations for the National Group Piano Piano Pedagogy Forum, Music Teacher's National Association Conference, National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy, as well as numerous state and local conferences. She is also Associate Editor for Keyboard Companion magazine.

Presently, Dr. Conda is writing 2 group piano books for Prentice Hall Publishing; Group Piano for the Well-Rounded Musician and Source Materials for the Well Rounded Musician. Anticipated printing is in 2006.

Even with her research, Dr. Conda manages to maintain a performance schedule as pianist for the Cincinnati Community Orchestra. Dr. Conda's most recent performances include the Schumann Concerto in Am, Khatchaturian Concerto, the Saint-Saens' Carnival of the Animals, Shostakovich Concerto, and Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.

 As Coordinator of Secondary Piano and Piano Pedagogy at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, Dr. Conda established the cognate in piano pedagogy, which was approved in 1996. Several students have published articles as a direct result of their cognate work.

Dr. Conda previously taught secondary piano and piano pedagogy at the University of Toledo.

Dr. Conda has been a member of the piano faculty of the College-Conservatory of Music since 1993.
