Donna Hallen Loewy has prepared and accompanied many of the top prize winners of the National Federation of Music Club's Artist Competition, NATS, Artist Awards, and the Montreal Concours International de Musique.

Professor Loewy has performed frequently throughout the United States as a collaborative pianist. She is the official accompanist for the Metropolitan Opera Auditions, Southern Ohio region, as well as for the Yamaha Young Performing Artist Competition in Bloomington, Illinois. She has worked as an opera coach with the Israel Vocal Arts Institute, Cincinnati Opera, and Dayton Opera, and was an assisting artist at the International Clarinet Conference and the American Federation of Music Congress of Strings for many summers.

Professor Loewy has taught in Chiari, Italy at the International Institute of Vocal Arts, and coaches vocal chamber music at the Grandin Festival in Cincinnati. She toured Australia as a member of the Seraphim Trio, and has performed concerts on the Queen Elizabeth II, under the auspices of the Metropolitan Opera Guild Tour.

She was awarded the 1999 Acuff Chair of Excellence at Austin Peay University in Clarksville, Tennessee, where she coached singers and instrumentalists; she has done master classes and coaching at Ohio State University, Baylor, SUNY Fredonia, DePauw University, among others.

Ms. Loewy was the voice consultant and co-author of the Inner Game of Music Vocal Workbook, written with Barry Green, author of the Inner Game of Music. She has been a member of the College-Conservatory faculty since 1976.
