This organization's goal is to get more money for the arts, arts education
for every child, and community development through the arts. This website
provides information on arts policy, arts education, advocacy initiatives,
and grants information.
ArtsEdge
ArtsEdge: Linking the Arts and Education through Technology ARTSEDGE was established
and continues its development under a cooperative agreement between the John
F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the National Endowment for the
Arts (with additional support from the U.S. Department of Education).
It gives updates on what is happening in arts and education as well as information
on job listings, grants and funding, competitions, and professional development.
Teaching materials include, activities and lesson plans, publishing information,
idea exchanges, and web links to educational resources.

American Music Education Initiative
This organization is a part of the National Music Foundation. It is for
teachers who use "American" music in their lesson plans. This page
is helpful for not only music teachers, but also for any K-12 teacher whose

The American Orff-Schulwerk Association is a professional organization
of music and movement educators dedicated to the creative teaching approach
developed by Carl Orff and Gunild Keetman. We are joined by our belief

Arts Education Partnership
Founded by the National Endowment for the Arts and the U.S. Department
