This year the Musical Theatre program at CCM is celebrating its fortieth anniversary. This is a retrospective of productions presented on the CCM stages over the past four decades. We hope these visual records will bring back memories of works presented in Corbett Auditorium, Patricia Corbett Theatre, Wilson Auditorium, Showboat Majestic, Hot Summer Nights and the Cohen Family Studio Theatre -- and the many students, famous and infamous, who made them so special.

SARA GETTELFINGER Class of 1999

Sara performed in regional theaters across the country before landing her first Broadway role as the Bird Girl in the musical Seussical. She followed this with Carla in the revival of Nine with Antonio Banderas. She originated the role of Jolene Oakes in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels with John Lithgow and played Little Edie in the original Off-Broadway run of Grey Gardens. Sara is one of the singing trio Three Graces, which blends the musical styles of its three members' backgrounds: Pop,  Opera and Broadway. For City Center Encores, she appeared in Tenderloin and Carnival and was a featured performer in the first national tour of Fosse. Most recently she appeared as Fastrada in the Deaf West revival of Pippin at the Mark Taper Forum and as Ann in the Goodspeed Opera’s revival of Half a Sixpence. She can be seen in episodes of Guiding Light and Without a Trace and in the film of Sex and the City.

Quote: "I try to always stay hungry. I'm still looking for the next project. I want to keep moving, never get settled. My mom says, 'You're very lucky to be this far along at your age' and I say, 'You're right,' but I'll never get anywhere by adapting to the expected schedule.
