THE COHEN FAMILY
STUDIO THEATRE
|
|
Musical Theatre Workshop productions are performed
in the Studio Theatre, a unique flexible space recently constructed in the
Corbett Center. This exciting theatre development, created under the
direction of Broadway theatre consultant Richard Pilbrow, provides CCM
directors with a "black box" space in which audience members and
actors can mingle freely during performances. Seating approximately 150,
this intimate setting is perfect for new works, experimental pieces or a
reexamination of the classics. In the past few years, workshop productions
have included Rags, Merrily We Roll Along, Song and Dance, In Circles,
Elegies, Side Show, Floyd Collins, Working, Company, Saturday Night,
110 in the Shade, Runaways and the premiere of Under Construction. |
