Welcome to the Preparatory Department

Welcome to the CCM Preparatory Department!
For over one hundred years arts we have been offering arts experiences to the Cincinnati community.  Whether you are seven or seventy, an enthusiast or a serious student, we hope you will consider CCM Prep for your artistic pursuits.  Last year approximately 2,000 students benefited from our programs and over 21,000 people were enriched by 144 student performances both at our world class home at the College-Conservatory of Music and in the community.

Let me take this opportunity to introduce Beth Boland, the new Assistant Director of the Prep program.  As the first ever Assistant Director, we are so lucky to have an individual who brings a wealth of administrative and artistic experience.  Beth will be in charge on Saturdays and will be eager to meet our great CCM families.

I am especially proud of our expanding audience through our special learners program and “Clavinova Connection.”  We are also increasing our sites in the community and developing new partnerships to bring the best in arts education to our community. Through this booklet you’ll see what the students say about our program.  We invite you to join our community of learners!
