CCM Youth Ballet Company (By Audition Only)
The CCM Youth Ballet Company is designed to give serious young dancers
specialized training and performance opportunities in a professional atmosphere.
At CCM it is our philosophy that every child deserves to be trained slowly
and carefully by a qualified instructor in a safe and nurturing environment.
As that training progresses, an important aspect of the dancer’s
education is to make the transition from classroom to stage. The Youth
Ballet provides dancers challenging, age appropriate choreography designed
to make them grow not only as artists, but also as responsible young adults.
Teachers and choreographers who understand the needs and capabilities
of young American dancers, are selected to create a varied repertoire
of work ranging from classic to contemporary.
The company performs two fully produced concerts per year and also participates
in other performances around the Tri-state. Company Dancers are selected
through auditions and are required to attend weekly rehearsals.
There are two groups within the Youth Company: The Junior Youth Ballet
Company which is a training company and the Youth Ballet Company. For
more information, please call the Preparatory Office, 556-3214. Dancers
should be in at least Ballet IV to audition for either Ballet Company.

- Saturday, September 8th (conditioning classes September 4th, 5th & 6th)

- December 7th & 8th, 2007
- May 2nd & 3rd, 2008
