High School Acting Certificate Program

Available for High School students interested in Acting, this two-year certificate program offers a three-hour core curriculum each Saturday afternoon designed to hone the actor’s craft. Students will gain confidence, experience and a practical foundation for both future work and studies. They will develop skills and processes essential for their work on stage, and take a variety of courses including Shakespeare, Characterization, Improvisation, Scene Work, Collegiate and Professional Audition Technique, and Meisner Technique.

Students meet on Saturdays from 11-3:30pm or 12:30 to 5pm. At the end of the two year program, students perform in a Certificate Showcase.

High School Musical Theater Intensive

The Musical Theater Intensive program is for students who display a strong interest and passion for musical theater, along with a demonstrated ability in musical theater voice, acting, and/or dance. Students attend classes on Saturdays in vocal performance, acting and the appropriate dance class. Audition required.

Students take the appropriate dance class, a voice class from 11:30-1:00 and an Acting class from 1-2pm on Saturdays. In addition, they are required to take private voice lessons. All students perform in an end of the year Showcase.
