Scholarship Opportunities

The Prep Department offers students the opportunity to participate in competitions and festivals, both department sponsored and community-based. CCM Prep students have participated in programs such as the Overture Awards, JME piano program, CSYO concerto competition and the Blue Ash Symphony Competition. Information is available in the office and from your teacher.

CCM Prep Department Overture Competition
The CCM Prep Department can nominate up to 12 students for the annual Overture Competition. The Overture Awards are a local competition that awards up to $2,500 in scholarship monies. Students can audition in music, drama or dance. Applications are available in the Prep Office and are due to our office by November 1, 2008. There is a $15 fee for applying.

Gino James DiMario Memorial Scholarship
The Gino James DiMario Memorial Scholarship is an endowed scholarship created in memory of Gino DiMario, a former CCM Prep piano student. Funds are given to students and activities that promote the joy of studying music. Applications are due October 25, 2009.
