Tan Dun's Water Passion After St. Matthew

On Tuesday, March 4 at 6:30 p.m. join the Young Friends of CCM's Take 5 Series as we explore CCM's regional premiere production of Tan Dun's work, Water Passion after St. Matthew. Learn about Tan Dun in a session led by CCM faculty member Earl Rivers, Professor of Music, Division Head of Ensembles and Conducting, and Director of Choral Studies. Rivers will discuss the significance of this performance, accompanied by a member of the percussion faculty, a student violinist and student cellist, along with an accompanist, and four singers from the Chamber Choir.

Enjoy wine and hors d'oeuvres as we engage in conversation about this groundbreaking piece!
