Dylan Mulvaney (BFA Musical Theater, 19’), a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, reached a major milestone in her performing career with her Broadway debut in the hit musical "Six," currently on stage at the Lena Horne Theatre in New York City. Mulvaney plays Anne Boleyn, one of the six queens at the center of the pop-infused reimagining of King Henry VIII’s wives.

Audiences can enjoy CCM Philharmonia's next concert in person or watch at home via livesteam at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20. Featuring alumni guest artists Rebecca Barnes, viola; and Jonathan Lee, cello; tickets for the "Midlife Crisis" concert are on sale now through the CCM Box Office. The livesteam is free to watch on CCM's website and YouTube channel.

A new collaboration between the University of Cincinnati's Digital Performance Lab (DP Lab), CCM Acting, UC's School of Information Technology, and the Cincinnati Fire Museum is using gaming technology to bring essential fire safety education to children. The project titled Fire Escape is an interactive video game designed to teach K-12 students how to respond safely during a house fire. It was developed through Digital Futures research support, student game development, and guidance from local fire safety professionals.

A $3 million gift from the estate of Barry Mitchell, CEAS ’82, will benefit the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). This donation will establish the Barry L. Mitchell Endowed Chair and Barry L. Mitchell Music Endowed Scholarship Fund at CCM.

UC College-Conservatory of Music's Play Series continues with Rope, a mystery thriller centered on college classmates who commit the perfect murder "just for fun." Adapted by CCM alumna Amy Berryman and Professor Brant Russell, the play runs Feb. 12-14 in Patricia Corbett Theater.

The University of Cincinnati reached $346 million in sponsored research awards in fiscal year 2025, up 6.6% increase over the previous year. Additionally, funding for clinical trials at UC climbed, with $88 million in industry-sponsored awards and $33 million in federally sponsored awards.
