The University of Cincinnati is making college more attainable for students across Ohio with the creation of the Bearcats Affordability Grant. The new grant will provide a pathway to tuition-free college for students of families who make less than $75,000 per year. Beginning in fall 2026, the Bearcats Affordability Grant will cover the remaining cost of tuition for Ohio residents who are Pell eligible.
CCM student Reagan Warvel, a senior Sound Design and Technology major, is building her resume with a variety of professional experiences — including working on the Backstreet Boys residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas over the summer.

Winstead. The competition will culminate with a public performance with finalists on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at CCM’s Robert J. Werner Recital Hall.

CCM Musical Theatre student, Nick Gundrum, has been chosen as a semifinalist for the American Pops Orchestra NextGen Collegiate Vocal Competition. The NextGen Competition was founded by APO Music Director, Maestro Luke Frazier, and is dedicated to celebrating collegiate students who show promise in popular song, musical theatre and jazz. The Next Gen Competition evaluates students based on vocal technique, stage presence and interpretive skill.
A generous delivery of food arrived in Cincinnati courtesy of Brigham Young University supporters ahead of Saturday’s big game. The Bearcats Pantry and Resource received 27, 000 pounds of food.
